Harry & Meghan official trailer is out. The six-part series will air on Netflix on December 8th and December 15th in two volumes.
In the trailer, Prince Harry talks about the pain and sufferings of the women who marry into the Royal Family and it shows clips of Princess Diana surrounded by paparazzi. A teary-eyed Meghan can be seen in the trailer and Prince Harry says “I was terrified. I didn’t want history to repeat itself“.
The couple tied the knot in a fairy tale wedding in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom back in 2018 and later moved to the United States in 2020 after giving up their positions as senior working royals from the British Royal Family.
Their departure gained heavy media attention as the ‘Megxit‘. The couple stated the mistreatment of Meghan Markle by the media and the rifts within the royal family made them step back from the British Royal duties.
After moving to the United States the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex did an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey and claimed that a high-ranking royal in the royal family or ”The Firm” was concerned about the color of their first child. Prince Harry also stated they were financially cut-off ed by the royal family after their departure.
They also announced the gender of their second child at the interview. The couple now has two children: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor(3) and Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor(1).
Prince Harry adds in the end “No one knows the full truth. We know the full truth“.Netflix released a teaser of the series on the 1st of December.
