Kit Harrington & Rose Leslie Expecting Baby No. 2

After having a boy in February 2021, Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie are expecting baby number two. Kit Harington and Rose Leslie welcomed their first child in February 2021.

On February 3, 2023, Harrington made the big announcement when he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Fallon asked Kit, 36, how his son was doing, to which the actor replied, “Good.”

“He’s about to get the shock of his life, which is that he’s about to get a brother or sister,” the actor jokingly added.

When the news was announced, the audience broke out in cheers and applause. Fallon asked whether the actor was nervous or excited about the news after congratulating him.

He joked, “I’m terrified.” He said, “Well, the man is, anyway,” before quickly adding, “You know, with the first baby, you’re like walking on clouds and dancing through fields of daisies for nine months.”

However, the reality check is much shorter this time around. You think, “You get practical quickly.” because you are aware of what lies ahead.

The actor from Eternals went on to say that he and his wife Leslie think their son is “quite smart” for acting, but that he enjoys getting “applause.”

He said, referring to his son’s intelligence, “Well, it’s surprising, seeing as we’re both actors.” We are unsure of the source of that.”

“He won’t be an actor, right?” asked Fallon.

He enjoys receiving praise. He stated, “We, like, give him applause every time he kind of does something good, and we’re worried that’s kind of pushing him toward acting.”

“We’re a little bit like, you might not be smart enough for this… go save the world. We had no choice but to get sick.
