Exactly 20 years after releasing her third studio album This Is Me…then in 2002, Jennifer Lopez announced her new album This Is Me…Now on November 24. Her social media accounts all went dark before the big announcement.
This is the 53-year-old “Jenny from the block “superstar’s ninth studio album and is a follow up to her 2002 album This Is Me…then which was released while she was first engaged to Ben Affleck.
Lopez says “This is me then, this is me now” in the Instagram video after transitioning back to her now self from her 2002 album cover. The album has 13 singles including “Dear Ben pt. II”
Jennifer and Ben were engaged back in 2002 and called off the engagement in 2004. Both went to marry other people and eventually got back together in 2021 after two decades. In April 2022, Lopez announced their second engagement, and they were married in Las Vegas in July 2022.
