K-POP girl group sensation BLACKPINK is selected by TIME magazine as the 2022 Entertainer of the Year. BLACKPINK is the second K-pop artist to win the title after BTS won it in 2020.
BLACKPINK is a South Korean all-girl group that debuted in 2016 with Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. Blackpink is the most successful Korean girl group internationally with hit songs such as “Whistle”, “Boombayah”, “Kill This Love”, “How You Like That” and “Pink Venom”.
In 2022 they released their second studio album Born Pink (2022), which is the best-selling album of all time by a Korean girl group and the first to sell over two million copies.
